"Virgin Tales"

Here's a piece on an upcoming documentary on Showtime called "Virgin Tales." It "follows the Wilson family, American Evangelical Christians who believe not only in waiting until their wedding night to have sex, but even to share their first kiss." The Wilsons, not incidentally, are the founders of the Purity Ball, and in their family Dad is in charge, while the women are "life-givers." It sounds like an interesting look into the more radical patriarchal side of the evangelical movement, and airs on July 23 at 7:30 p.m. if you're interested (and if you have Showtime!).

  1. If Wayne Hensler is so concerned about the legacy he leaves his grandchildren, he should stop polluting the lake adjacent to his farm, start cleaning up the pollution he has illegally perpetuated there since 1999, and show at least some respect for the rule of law.

But then again, sadly this sort of inconsistency is exactly what we have come to expect from a world view that is, at bottom, incoherent:

Perhaps Wayne Hensler's disbelief in any higher power(s) justified, in his mind, ignoring multiple court orders. Or maybe this is his version of atheistic morality. Either way, I never thought I would have to say it to an 86 year old man, but it's time for you to STFU you Hitchens-Dawkins parroting basement dwelling neck bearded megadouche. Yours is a petty, trivial, localized, earth bound philosophy, unworthy of the universe.
